EUGENE, Ore. — Vanderbilt track and field is set to compete in eight events at Hayward Field Thursday through Saturday in the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Falon Spearman will start the weekend off in the preliminary round of the 100-meter hurdles at 8:08 p.m. CT, while Elizabeth Bailey will compete in the finals in the Javelin at 8:15 p.m. In the long jump finals, Lena Gooden will compete at 8:40 p.m., while Jayden Hill is set to compete in the 800-meter preliminaries at 8:58 p.m.

The Commodores will have two entries in the 400-meter hurdles preliminaries, with Spearman and Madyson Wilson competing at 9:14 p.m. Vanderbilt will conclude Thursday's competition in the 4x400-meter relay at 10:36 p.m. with Wilson, Josie Donelson, Faith Franklin and Joy Moorer. The top two finishers in each heat, along with the next three fastest times, will advance to the final.

Friday’s competition will feature Marta Sivina’s first day of heptathlon events, competing in the 100-meter hurdles at 1:45 p.m., following the high jump at 2:45 p.m., the shot put at 4:45 p.m. and the 200-meter dash at 8:43 p.m.

Sivina will start off the final day of competition on Saturday with her final heptathlon events of long jump at 4:30 p.m., javelin at 5:45 p.m. and the 800 meters at 6:43 p.m. Entries for the finals will be announced as qualified.
