LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Vanderbilt track and field team prepares to compete in the 2026 East Region First Round on Thursday and Saturday at Kentucky’s Outdoor Track and Field Facility.
Javelin thrower Elizabeth Bailey will kick off the weekend for Vanderbilt at noon CDT, followed by a break until the evening session. Competition resumes at 5 p.m. with Falon Spearman and Santana Spearman competing in the 100-meter hurdles. Long jumpers Lena Gooden and Marta Sivina will also compete at 5 p.m.
Sarah Marvin will compete for a spot in the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the shot put at 5:30 p.m., followed by sprinters Faith Franklin and Josie Donelson in the 400-meter dash at 6:25 p.m. Jayden Hill and Kelty Oaster will compete in the 800 meters at 6:50 p.m., with Falon Spearman, Mya Georgiadis and Madyson Wilson following in the 400-meter hurdles.
Tyla Lumley will close out the day in the 10,000 meters at 8:10 p.m.
