VUCommodores.com: Last weekend, Vanderbilt Bowling rallied to top McKendree in a dramatic NCAA title match to claim the 2018 NCAA Bowling Championship. The championship is the program’s second national title and the fourth across all Vanderbilt sports. Afterward, head coach John Williamson joined the Commodore Insider Podcast this week to reflect on the Commodores’ title run. Congrats, Dores!

The Tennessean: Adam Sparks spotlights Vanderbilt All-American tennis player Astra Sharma ahead of the Commodores’ appearance in the SEC Tournament this weekend in Knoxville.
SEC: Fernanda Contreras was named Vanderbilt’s representative on the SEC Community Service Team this week. Contreras has worked with the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital, volunteering while studying abroad at the University of Cape Town in Cape Town, South Africa. She has also volunteered with Rise Against Hunger, Nashville Humane Society and Dance Marathon and partnered with Vanderbilt and Soles4Souls working a donation drive.
The Tennessean: ESPN Films was in Nashville last week to start work on a project about the history of college football and the SEC in particular that will include legendary Vanderbilt football coach Dan McGugin.

VUCommodores.com: Vanderbilt sophomore John Augenstein took home the individual title at the Mason Rudolph Championship last weekend at the Vanderbilt Legends Club. For the Commodores, Augenstein’s title came at the perfect time, writes Zac Ellis.
VUCommodores.com: Several Vanderbilt student-athletes were honored for their competitive, academic and community achievements Monday night at the Golden Dores Banquet. The night was capped by tennis All-American Astra Sharma being named Miss Commodore and men’s cross country runner Sam DeFabrizio being named Mr. Commodore.
