VUCommodores.com: This week Vanderbilt launched the Commodores’ “I am More…” campaign, which highlights student-athletes’ array of accomplishments away from their respective sports. Check this page on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays to find a new Vanderbilt student-athlete expressing their passions away from their sport.
VUCommodores.com: Giving back to her community is in Jessica Mooney Holman’s DNA. The former Commodore standout guard and frequent analyst for Vanderbilt women’s basketball television broadcasts has found a higher calling as senior programs director for Harvest Hands in Nashville. In the second installment of Where Are They Now, we check in with Holman, mother of an infant daughter who mentors young inner-city Nashville kids to reach for their aspirations and dreams.
The Tennessean: Adam Sparks spotlight Vanderbilt basketball senior Jeff Roberson, one of the most reliable Commodores on this year’s roster. “He has avoided setbacks and always gotten better each year at Vanderbilt,” Sparks writes.

Reese’s Senior Bowl: The Senior Bowl added Vanderbilt linebacker Oren Burks as a late addition to the annual game earlier this week. He becomes the 42nd Commodore to participate in the Senior Bowl and first since Casey Hayward in 2012.
Biloxi Sun-Herald: The Sun-Herald in Mississippi features hometown product and Vanderbilt basketball senior Christa Reed.
Vanderbilt Hustler: As Vanderbilt football alum Adam Butler prepares to suit up for the New Englad Patriots in next Sunday’s Super Bowl, the Hustler chronicles the Commodores’ history of former players on football’s biggest stage.
