Vanderbilt finished off the team’s second two-a-day of the week on a cloudy Friday afternoon on the team’s practice fields.
The Commodores practiced for over an hour in the morning before turning in another practice of an hour-plus in the afternoon. The team worked on special teams drills and continued the install of the team’s playbook on both sides of the ball in the afternoon session.
First Scrimmage
Coach Derek Mason’s squad will scrimmage for the first time of camp tomorrow morning inside Vanderbilt Stadium. The Dores are slated to work for two hours before breaking for lunch then position meetings. The scrimmage is closed to the public and the media.
Dore Jam on Sunday
Vanderbilt is set to host the team’s annual fan event – Dore Jam – on Sunday afternoon inside the indoor practice facility. The event is scheduled from 2-4 p.m. and will be an exclusive opportunity for fans to purchase single-game tickets to Vanderbilt’s home games against South Carolina, Middle Tennessee, Florida, Tennessee State and Ole Miss.
