For the second year in a row, the SEC Network is providing each league member 24 hours of programming for the SEC Network Takeover. The SEC Network Takeover begins Monday, and the Commodores will be the first out of the gates.
To help shape the lineup, Vanderbilt enabled fans to vote for some of their top choices. Vanderbilt was provided with overwhelming response for what will be an exciting 24-hour showcase of Vanderbilt athletics.
The highlight of Vanderbilt’s programming will be a 30-minute Vanderbilt-produced show called “Catching up with the Commodores” that is hosted by Joe Fisher, Voice of the Commodores, and touches on a number of the exciting things happening within Vanderbilt athletics.
Included in the show are pieces on the Anchor Dash, the Vanderbilt athletics internship program, international trips for Ralph Webb and the bowling team, the department’s Soles4Souls trip to Cuba, a feature on Simone Charley, an update on the baseball facility project and interviews with head coaches including Tim Corbin, Bryce Drew, Derek Mason, Geoff Macdonald and Stephanie White.
The program will air twice during the day — at 8 a.m. CT and 8:30 p.m. CT. See below for a complete schedule of Vanderbilt’s SEC Network Takeover.
Please note that each school was permitted to show two NCAA postseason games this season. Additionally, the schedule was created from ESPN’s available television inventory, so not all of Vanderbilt’s televised games are eligible to be shown.
