The Williams Report. Vice Chancellor David Williams sat down with VUcommodores.com last week to give his perspective on SEC expansion and how it affects Vanderbilt and collegiate athletics.
Cross Country Results. The Commodore men finished eighth and the women’s “B” team placed 10th at the Louisville Cross Country Classic Saturday. Liz Anderson set a personal-best time of 17:16.35.
Price Check. Tampa Bay starter David Price will be looking for redemption against Texas in Game 3 of the American League Division Series Monday night. Price was charged with two losses in the Rays’ playoff series with the Rangers last year. This season, the best-of-five affair is tied at 1-1.
Moore Scores. Chicago Bears cornerback D.J. Moore scored his second career touchdown in Chicago’s 34-29 win over Carolina Sunday afternoon at Soldier Field. On the play in the first quarter, Moore intercepted Cam Newton’s deflected pass and returned it 20 yards to the end zone. Watch Highlight
