Nashville Regional is Set

Vanderbilt earns No. 6 seed

NASHVILLE, Tenn.  — Vanderbilt has been tabbed the No. 6 overall seed in the NCAA Division I Tournament and will welcome Eastern Illinois, Oregon and Xavier to Hawkins Field for the NCAA Nashville Regional, the selection committee announced Monday.

The Commodores (41-18) are hosting for the ninth time in program history and will have the opportunity to host the super regional round should they advance. The NCAA Nashville Regional is paired with the Stillwater Regional, hosted by Oklahoma State.

Vanderbilt is making its 17th consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance, the longest active streak in Division I, and hosting a regional for the seventh time in the last 10 seasons.

National Commodore Club members and baseball season ticket holders have until Tuesday at 3 p.m. to secure their tickets for the Nashville Regional. They may purchase by logging in to their athletics ticket account, selecting “My Account” and “2023 Baseball Regionals.” Further details will be communicated via email today.

All other National Commodore Club members are able to purchase tickets, based on availability, beginning today at 1 p.m. by logging in to their athletics ticket account.

Based on NCAA regulations, a limited number of outfield tickets will be made available on vucommodores.com beginning Tuesday at 10 a.m.
