Andie Lakin is a two-year starter on the Vanderbilt soccer team. Her #MusicMonday choices are probably on the list of 100 all-time sports songs.
If Lakin’s first choice isn’t on your pregame playlist, you may not be doing it right. “‘Lose Yourself’ by Eminem has always been the song that I listened to right before a game,” said the sophomore midfielder. “Just listening to the lyrics of the song really gets me focused!”
Her second choice, “Firework” by Katy Perry, has become a huge empowerment song. “Ever since I first heard this song, I loved it! Probably my favorite pump-up song.”
