It’s #MusicMonday! Want to know what songs help Lou Groza Award nominee, Outstanding Senior nominee and 54-yard field goal kicker Carey Spear, get ready for a big game? You might be surprised.
Carey’s first song choice is “Your Love” by The Outfield. “It is by far one of my favorite songs to sing along to, even though there are some notes in there that are unreachable. Every time that song comes up, you’ll hear me singing along.”
His second song choice “Turn it Down” by Kaskade is a complete departure from a pop rock classic. “[It] is a song that I stumbled upon on 8tracks before the South Carolina game last season. It is a little different than my usual taste in music. But before a game, I want to be energetic, positive, and relaxed all at once, and when you mix some adrenaline with this song, I cant help but be ready to play.”
Not sure about you, but I’d love to see Carey throw down karaoke style.
