Vanderbilt to host Virginia Tech before a capacity crowd

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Vanderbilt football season-opener against Virginia Tech is sold out.

The athletics department announced the sellout Friday. Fans still looking to purchase tickets can find them on SeatGeek, the official fan-to-fan ticket marketplace of Vanderbilt athletics.

It marks the first sellout in the home opener for Vanderbilt since 2019, when a contest with Georgia sold out Week 1. It also marks the first time FirstBank Stadium has been sold out for a nonconference game since 2017 versus Kansas State.
