NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Vanderbilt’s men’s tennis will compete at the ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships beginning Thursday in Knoxville, Tennessee.
More than 8,000 student-athletes from NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA, Junior and Community Colleges compete in the ITA Regional Championships. In Division I, regional doubles and singles champions and finalists qualify for the ITA National Fall Championships, which will take place in San Diego, California, beginning on Nov. 4.
Last weekend, Vanderbilt began its season at the Auburn Fall Invitational and combined for 13 wins against Clemson, Miami (Fla.), and the host Tigers. The Commodores won five doubles matches and eight singles matches.
Following the ITA Regionals, the Commodores will compete at the ITA All-American Championships, in which George Harwell, Max Freeman, and Marcus Ferreira were selected to compete. The ITA All-American Championships will be hosted by the University of Tulsa on Oct. 4-10. A full Fall schedule is here.
