Game time is 7:05 p.m. We will be conducting fireworks at the conclusion of the game. A few notes to fans. Lot 71, the parking lot behind the baseball outfield will be closed off from right centerfield on curving around towards Memorial Gym. There are signs out stating that there is no parking beyond that limit. We ask that you please try to avoid parking in this lot. If you park beyond the designated signs your car will be towed as a safety precaution. This also goes for the small lot just above in Memorial Gym off of 25th Ave. This entire lot will be closed.
At the conclusion of Friday night’s game we will ask that all pedestrians viewing the game on Memorial plaza out behind left/centerfield vacate that area immediately. You must cross over 25th Ave if you would like to view the fireworks show. VUPD will make their way up to the plaza in the 8th inning to remind fans that they must move immediately following the end of the game.
When the game ends, traffic on 25th Ave behind the baseball field will have to be closed prior to the firework show and will reopen for traffic after the show concludes pending the Fire Marshall’s approval.
