NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Vanderbilt men’s tennis team travels north to Columbus, Ohio, to compete against No. 1 Ohio State in the ITA Kickoff Weekend on Saturday Jan. 27.
Contingent on Saturday’s results, the Commodores will either face off against Oregon or Boise State on Sunday.
Vandy enters the weekend with a perfect record, having won doubleheaders this past week on Wednesday and Sunday against East Tennessee State, Tennessee State, Tennessee Tech and Alabama A&M.
The Buckeyes (2-0) head into ITA Kickoff after two victories on Sunday against Eastern Illinois and Xavier. Ohio State ended the 2022-23 season with a 34-3 record, making it all the way to the final round of the NCAA Championship before falling to Virginia. Oregon and Boise State are also bringing perfect records into the weekend, at 3-0 and 2-0 respectively.
Up Next: The Commodores are scheduled to play a doubleheader at home against Belmont and Butler on Sunday, Feb. 4.
