Six women’s tennis student-athletes set to compete at ITA All-American Championship

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Six members of the Vanderbilt women’s tennis program will continue their fall season when play gets underway at the ITA All-American Championship on Saturday.

Holly Staff and Valeria Ray will be the first Dores on the court with the start of pre-qualifying in singles, with the nationally-ranked duo of Bridget Stammel and Anessa Lee—who enter play 67th and 103rd, respectively, in the country—beginning action in qualifying rounds. Célia-Belle Mohr, currently No. 12 in the nation, has secured a spot in the main singles draw, and Amy Stevens will compete in doubles as well.

All singles matches will be best two out of three sets, while in doubles matches will feature an 8-game pro set with a tiebreak at 7 games all.
