NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Vanderbilt men’s tennis coach Brown announced on Wednesday afternoon the addition of two team captains, alongside Joubert Klopper and Jeremie Casabon.
“We, as a staff, are thrilled to name Callum Rendle and Connor Robb-Wilcox as captains, alongside our current captains Jeremie and Joubert, for the remainder of the season,” said Brown. “They represent everything our culture is about with the work ethic, discipline, enthusiasm and humility they have brought on a consistent basis over the past eight months, both on and off the court.”
Robb-Wilcox is a senior in the program, originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, and this is his fourth season with the Commodores. Rendle, a Berkshire, England, native, joined Vandy this season from Wofford and is enrolled in the graduate program.
“Callum and Connor are two of the most selfless players I have had the opportunity to work with in my 12 years of coaching college tennis and, along with Jeremie and Joubert, have been incredible role models for our returners next year. No one is more deserving than these two young men. Congrats to Callum and Connor on this honor.”
