Juskeviciute travels to NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships as No. 6 in the pentathlon

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt track and field graduate student Beatrice Juskeviciute will travel to Albuquerque, New Mexico to compete at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships on Friday. She enters the competition seeded sixth in the pentathlon.

Two weeks ago, Juskeviciute set a new Vanderbilt school record, improved her lifetime best (4,271 points) and won a silver medal in the pentathlon at the SEC Indoor Track and Field Championships (Feb. 24). She recorded career-best performances in the long jump (5.92 meters) and 60-meter hurdles (8.40 seconds) and a season-best performance in the shot put (13.48 meters). She placed in the top three in three of five events at the championship, finishing first in the shot put, second in the 800 meters (2:18.61) and third in the 60-meter hurdles.

The competition will begin at 9:50 a.m. MT on Friday with the pentathlon 60-meter hurdles and can be watched on ESPN+.
