Home Run Lounge Opens Saturday

Rules and FAQs

  • The Home Run Lounge will only be open during Vanderbilt’s 15 Southeastern Conference games at Hawkins Field, along with the March 9 matchup with Illinois State.
  • The Home Run Lounge will be open from the moment gates open (two and a half hours before first pitch) until the end of the seventh inning.
    • The Home Run Lounge will open at noon for games played on Sunday.
  • “Last call” will take place during the middle of the seventh inning.
  • After the end of the seventh inning, fans are permitted to remain in the Home Run Lounge, but are unable to purchase additional items.
  • Fans must be 21 years or older to enter. Children accompanied with parents will be permitted. Those younger than 21 years of age will be given a brown “Under 21” wristband.
  • All fans must purchase a $10 wristband in order to enter the lounge.
  • SEC policy requires that beer is sold in a premium area. Beer is not permitted in the general seating area.
  • Fans can purchase wristbands with cash or credit cards only.
  • To prevent fraud, a different colored wristband will be issued at each game.
  • Fans may not leave the lounge with an alcoholic beverage.
  • Fans may not bring outside alcoholic beverages into the lounge.
  • Fans are permitted to leave and re-enter the lounge, so long as they are not carrying an alcoholic beverage.
  • Fans are permitted to bring food purchased from a concession stand into the lounge.
  • Beer and spiked seltzer will be sold in the Home Run Lounge.
  • A Vanderbilt Police Department Community Service Officer and two guest services hosts will patrol and maintain the area.
  • Contracted Contemporary Services Corporation representatives will check IDs before the sale of a wristband occurs.
  • Guest services staff members will sell wristbands to fans outside of the Home Run Lounge entrance.
  • The Home Run Lounge tent and tables will remain standing during midweek games, but no alcoholic beverages or wristbands will be sold.
  • During doubleheaders, staff will stop service at the end of the seventh inning of both games. Fans will be required to exit the Home Run Lounge during the clearing of the stadium between games.
