NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Commodore track and field team will host the Vanderbilt Invitational on January 18-19 at the Multipurpose Facility.
Teams scheduled to join the Commodores at the compete are: Alabama (M), Auburn (M/W), Ball State (M/W), Belmont (M/W), Cincinnati (M/W), Connecticut (M/W), Furman (M/W), Georgia Tech (M/W), Lipscomb (M/W), Louisiana Tech (M/W), Memphis (M/W), Middle Tennessee State (M/W), Mississippi State (M/W), Ole Miss (M/W), South Alabama (M/W), Southern Mississippi (M/W), Tennessee State (M/W), Tennessee Tech (M/W), UAB (M/W) and Western Kentucky (M/W).
Four Vanderbilt athletes will compete individually along with a distance medley relay foursome on Friday. Seventeen Commodores are expected to participate on Saturday.
General admission tickets are available at the facility for $5. Doors will open at 3 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. on Saturday.
Spectators can park in the 25th Avenue Garage (levels 9-11) prior to 6 p.m. and then in Lot #75 off of Natchez Trace after 6 p.m. on Friday. On Saturday, spectators can use Lot #75 located across Natchez Trace from Vanderbilt’s outdoor track venue.
