Kristen Findley and Meagan Martin’s new school records highlighted the weekend for the Vanderbilt Commodores at the Meyo Invitational at Notre Dame.

Findley set a new pace with a 1000m time of 2:49.64, while Martin cleared the bar in the pole vault at 3.86m.

“Good meet for the team,” said head coach Steve Keith. “Two school records and a number of seasonal bests. I give credit to Meagan Martin and Kristen, they really went after it, and Erin Edmond got back on a positive track with a solid High Jump and two good efforts in the 400/200.”

Edmonds, a freshman, had a high jump mark of 1.65m.

The Commodores will have one more meet, next weekend in Birmingham, and then take a week off to focus on the SEC Indoor Championships, set for February 24-26. Four members will also head out to Seattle for the University of Washington’s Invitational next weekend.
