NASHVILLE- Vanderbilt women’s basketball head coach Stephanie White, the Vanderbilt women’s basketball team and Papa John’s are once again teaming up to help grant a child’s wish through Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee.
For the second consecutive year, Papa John’s has pledged a donation to Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee for home three-point field goals from the Vanderbilt women’s team throughout SEC play and White will match that donation.
“We are so excited to partner with Papa John’s and Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee to grant a wish for a child and family in need of joy and inspiration,” said White. “This extraordinary foundation has impacted me since the moment I met Jessica Meyer; she is a prime example of how a wish can change a life. We want to help provide more opportunities for children and families to escape their struggles for a moment, smile and enjoy time together.”
White and Papa Johns’ will present checks to Make-A-Wish at halftime of Vanderbilt’s final home game against Arkansas on Feb. 25.
Papa John’s will also run a special online promo which will see $1 of each order donated to Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee.
