Vanderbilt’s women’s basketball team moved up one slot to No. 23 in the most recent Associated Press Poll released Monday.
The Commodores began the season ranked No. 24 in the preseason, but moved into a tie for 23rd with TCU following its convincing win over Howard on Sunday.
Vanderbilt remains one of four SEC teams that are ranked in the AP Top 25. UConn is ranked No. 1 followed by Baylor, the only other team to receive a first-place vote.
Vanderbilt will return to the court on Thursday to face Samford. The Commodores will then travel to No. 16 Florida State on Sunday.
