Commodores all-time lead in the series is now 30-27.

Vanderbilt committed a season-high 19 turnovers against the Gamecocks.

South Carolina outrebounded Vanderbilt, 41-34. The Commodores are now 1-4 on the season when being outrebounded.

The Gamecocks outshot the Commodores (38.9% to 35.2%) for the game. Vanderbilt is now 1-8 when being outshot by an opponent.

South Carolina shot 39 free throws, the most by an opponent this season. The previous high was 30 by Florida on December 30.

The Commodores used the starting lineup of Jeff Roberson, Clevon Brown, Saben Lee, Maxwell Evans, and Riley LaChance for the second consecutive game (1-1 record when using that lineup).

Vanderbilt is now 0-4 in games played on the weekend.

Player Notes:

Saben Lee led the team for the second consecutive game in scoring with 17 points. Lee also made a career-high three threes.

Matthew Fisher-Davis also added double figures with 12 points, his 61st career game scoring in double figures. He also tied a career high in blocks with four.

Djery Baptiste added 10 points, his second game in double figures this season. He set a new career best with three steals.
