Vanderbilt’s matchup with No. 2 Alabama in Tuscaloosa will kickoff at 6 p.m. CT on October 8, the Southeastern Conference announced on Monday.
The game will be televised on either ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU. The respective networks will be selected after this weekend’s action. The other two games that will be broadcast in the same window are Auburn at Alabama and Georgia at Tennessee.
Vanderbilt will be making its first trip to Bryant-Denny Stadium since 2005 when the Crimson Tide edged the Commodores, 13-10, on Leigh Tiffin’s field goal with 7:34 left in the game.
Alabama plays at Florida at 7 p.m. CT on Saturday while the Commodores are off this week.
