NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt track and field travels to College Station, Texas, to compete in the SEC Indoor Track and Field Championships hosted by Texas A&M at the R.A. “Murray” Fasken Indoor Track Thursday through Saturday.
A look back at 2024
At the 2024 SEC Indoor Championships, Vanderbilt totaled 25 points and earned three medals to place 12th. The distance medley relay of Emma Curry, Allyria McBride, Audrey Allman and Julia Rosenberg made the podium as third-place finishers with a time of 11:15.13, the second-ranked mark in school history. McBride broke the school record in the long jump with a 6.13-meter mark to place seventh and score in the event. Rosenberg also contributed to Commodore scoring in the 3,000 meters, placing seventh with a time of 9:19.94.

- After the Music City Challenge, the Commodores’ 60-meter hurdles squad checked in at No. 5 in the USTFCCCA Event Rankings (Feb. 18)
- Vanderbilt student-athletes registered nine personal-bests through three rounds of the 60-meter hurdles
- Falon Spearman broke the school record 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.18 seconds, which currently ranks sixth in the SEC and top 30 in the NCAA
- Four Commodores–Taylor McKinnon, Devyn Parham, Marta Sivina and Santana Spearman–either added or improved their marks on the program’s all-time performers list
- Sivina broke the U23 Latvian National Record in the 60-meter hurdles at the Music City Challenge, clocking a personal-best time of 8.44 seconds to advance to the event semifinals
- Less than 24 hours after breaking the program record in the mile, Rosenberg returned to the track to reset her own record in the 3,000 meters by more than a second
- Rosenberg is ranked seventh in the mile and 13th in the 3,000 meters in the SEC ahead of the conference championships
- Allman clocked 4:39.73 in the mile, the third best mark in school history and the 11th-ranked time in the SEC
