“It’s time to take calculated risks.”
James Franklin made it crystal clear for UAB week: Vanderbilt needed to return to the aggressive style of play it thrived on in his first two seasons as head coach of the Commodores.

Franklin demanded it from the coaches, his players, everybody.
“From this point on, we’re back to playing Vanderbilt football.” Franklin said. “That’s how we are playing from this point on, for eternity. You guys will be watching Vanderbilt football 20 years from now; that’s how we’re going to play.”
Everyone was pleased with the outcome, a 52-24 wipeout of the Blazers.
