The Commodores’ first victory of 2013 means it’s time for the season 2 premiere of reVealed. And yes, some familiar faces return in the opening minute of the episode to “tighten up the chain.”

Two takeaways from Vanderbilt’s 38-3 win over Austin Peay: Vanderbilt’s offense exploded for 35 points in the second quarter to set what appears to be a modern day high for the Commodores. On the flip side, the Govs outscored the Dores 3-0 in the second half.
Head coach James Franklin made it a point to congratulate his squad in the locker room after the game, but warned there is still room for improvement.
“We’re going to enjoy the wins. We’re 1-0 this week, which is what we set out to do, and we accomplished it,” Franklin said. “But I’m also going to tell you the truth: we didn’t play very well. We started slow, and then we lost the second half. We didn’t finished the way we’re suppose to finish, so we’ve got some work to do.”
