-Vanderbilt moved to 1-0 in career series against Norfolk State.
-The Commodores are 4-0 on the season for the first time since the 2007-08 season, when Vanderbilt started the year 16-0.

-Of the four Commodore double digit scorers, three were freshman – Wade Baldwin IV (13), Riley LaChance (12), and Matthew Fisher-Davis (11). James Siakam also added 11 points.
-Vanderbilt’s bench outscored Norfolk State’s, 37-12.
-The Spartans out rebounded the Commodores, 42-34, and outscored Vanderbilt 14-16 on second chance points.
-Norfolk State also outscored Vanderbilt, 28-21, in points in the paint.
-Vanderbilt held Norfolk State to only 32.1% from the floor and 15.8% from three. The Commodores shot 44.0% from the floor, 40.9% from three, and 55.6% from the free throw line.

Player Notes
-Baldwin IV led all Vanderbilt scorers with 13 points. He also added six rebounds, six assists, and two steals and only one turnover in 26 minutes.
-Fisher-Davis’ 11 points was a new career high.
-James Siakam scored a season-high 11 points and grabbed a season-high seven rebounds. Damian Jones also grabbed seven rebounds.
-LaChance tied his career-high in threes made with three.
-Shelton Mitchell added six assists.
