Game Notes
-Vanderbilt improves to 24-4 all-time against Lipscomb, including 15-1 when playing at Memorial Gym.
-With the win Kevin Stallings is now 5-0 against Lipscomb.
-For the second year in a row, the Commodores are off to a 2-0 start.
-8,415 attended the game.
-Coach Stallings is now alone in ninth place on the all-time SEC wins list with 294 victories, surpassing former Mississippi State coach Rick Stansbury.

Team Notes
-The `Dores out rebounded the Bison, 43-37
-The Commodores had 19 assists to only 11 turnovers.
-Vanderbilt outscored the Bisons, 30-18, in the paint and 18-3 in fast break points.
-The Commodores trailed for only 26 seconds of the game. Its largest lead was 16, which came at the 1:17 mark of the second half.
-After trailing by 15 points at the half, Lipscomb closed Vanderbilt’s lead to three, 52-49, with 10:08 to play. The Commodores then went on a 13-2 to run
to keep the Bisons at bay.
-The Commodores held Lipscomb to only 33.3% from the floor and 25.0% from three.

Player Notes
Damian Jones led all players with 21 points on 8-15 shooting. He also added two blocks along with one steal and assist. It was Jones’ second consecutive 20-point game, and 22nd career game in double-figures.
-Wade Baldwin IV had a solid stat line in his second game as a collegian, scoring 11 points, grabbing seven rebounds, dishing out five assists, and garnering three steals, all with no turnovers.
-Luke Kornet scored 11 points and was 3-4 from beyond-the-arc. The three made threes tied a career-high he set against Texas A&M last season in College Station (1/25/14).
-Freshman Jeff Roberson had a game-high eight rebounds.
