Game Notes:
-With the 102-52 victory over Detroit Vanderbilt improved to 6-1 on the season and 4-0 at home.
-Wednesday’s competition was the first between Vanderbilt and Detroit. VU now leads the series, 1-0.
-Head Coach Kevin Stallings has never faced a Detroit squad prior to the mid-week game. He now owns a 1-0 record against the Titans.
-Vanderbilt starters included Kornet (3), Baldwin (4), LaChance (13), Cressler (24) and Jones (30). It is the first time the Commodores have used that starting lineup this year.
-Vanderbilt led 47-20 leading into the second half, tying the second largest first half lead of the season.

Team Notes:
-Vanderbilt finished the game shooting 57.4% from the floor, 46.2% from three, and 66.7% from the charity stripes.
-VU had seven players scoring in double-digits; Baldwin (20), Mathew Fisher-Davis (12), Jones (10), LaChance (10), Cressler (14), Joe Toye (10) and Josh Henderson (11).
-The last time Vanderbilt had six players score in double-digits was against Central Arkansas (11/26/08)
-The 102 points scored marked the first time Vanderbilt has scored 100+ points since on Feb. 16, 2012 in Oxford, Miss. against Ole Miss (102). It was the first time the Commodores have scored more than 100 points at home since Dec. 5, 2006, when Vanderbilt knocked off ETSU, 104-62 win.
-VU held Detroit to 22.9% from the filed. The last time the Dores held a team to 30% from the floor or less was against St. John’s on 11/23/15 (.300) in Maui.
-The last time Vanderbilt won by 50 points or more was on 11/14/1998 against Army, (92-41). The 50-point margin of victory tied for the fifth-largest margin of victory in the history of the program (Vanderbilt 98-48, 12/16/57) and the largest of the Stallings’ era.
-VU had 30 free throw attempts. The last time VU attempted 30+ FTs was against Gardner-Webb on 11/16 with 32.
-The Commodores out rebounded the Titans, 53-34, and outscored Detroit, 18-0, in 2nd chance points. The 53 rebounds was the most by a Vanderbilt team this season.
-Vanderbilt had 11 blocks on the night, a season-high.

Individual Notes:
-Wade Baldwin IV led the team with 20 points, his second 20+-point game of his career. He also added four rebounds, three assists, and two steals.
-Luke Kornet led the team in rebounds with 11 boards, his third double-digit rebounding game of the season. He also added a career-high five blocks.
-Senior Josh Henderson hit his first career three-pointer, helping set a season-high 11 points.
-Fisher-Davis scored a season-high 12 points on a season-best four made threes. He also added a career-high two steals.
-Nolan Cressler scored a season-high 14 points and tied his season-high with two made threes. He also added two assists in 18 minutes.
-Joe Toye scored a career-high 10 points in the win.
-Riley LaChance added 10 points and had five assists with no turnovers against the Titans. LaChance now has 28 assists and only six turnovers on the season and leads the SEC in assist-to-turnover ratio.
