VANDERBILT (23-10)

– Vanderbilt is 37-22 in NCAA Tournament play and 31-8 in first and second round games.

– The Commodores lead the all-time series with DePaul 9-4.

– It was Vanderbilt’s first win over DePaul since Feb. 19, 1997, a 86-60 Commodores victory in Nashville.

– Vanderbilt advanced the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the seventh time in 10 seasons.

– The Commodores moved to 3-0 in overtime games during the 2009-10 season and 2-2 all-time in NCAA play.

– After trailing 5-0 in the first three minutes, Vanderbilt went on a 15-0 run to lead 15-5 with 13:31 left in the half.

– Vanderbilt led 33-26 at the half and is 19-3 this season in that situation.

– Vanderbilt scored 12 points off 11 DePaul turnovers in the first half

– Vanderbilt tallied nine second-chance points on 10 offensive rebounds.

Merideth Marsh (#23) led all scorers with 14 points in the first half.

– Vanderbilt had seven turnovers in the first seven minutes of the second half after turning it over only seven times in the first 20 minutes.

– Trailing by 7, 48-41 with 10:17 remaining, the Commodores used a 20-4 run to lead by nine, 61-52, with under five minutes left.

– Vanderbilt started the overtime period on an 11-0 run and outscored DePaul 19-12 in the extra stanza.

Merideth Marsh (#23) led all players with 26 points, her seventh 20-plus point game of the season.

– Four Commodore players found double figures including: Marsh (26), Tuomi (17), Rhoads (15), and Mooney (14).

– Tuomi had a career- and game-high 12 rebounds, her second double-double of the season.

– Vanderbilt got 23 points off the bench, compared to two for DePaul.

DEPAUL (21-12)

– DePaul is 7-15 in NCAA tournament play and 6-9 in first round games.

– It was the first overtime game for DePaul in 21 NCAA Tournament contests.

– DePaul dropped to 2-2 on the season in overtime.

– The Blue Demons trail in the all-time series with Vanderbilt 4-9..

– DePaul went 5:11 without scoring a basket in the first half, trailing 15-7 with 12:19 remaining.

– The Blue Demons trailed by 11, 29-18, with 3:50 left in the opening half.

– After starting the first half 0-5 from behind the arc, DePaul was 3-4 the rest of the way.

– DePaul tied it up at 38 apiece with 14:30 left after using a 12-5 run out of halftime.

– The Blue Demons took the lead at 40-38 with 13:00 to go, their first lead since 18:24 of the first half (4-0).

– Trailing by 9, 61-52 with under five minutes left, DePaul pulled within two, 63-61 with 1:28 left, on the heels of a 9-2 run. DePaul knotted things up at 64 apiece with 1:07 left after a three-point play by Felicia Chester.

– Sam Quigly had an assist in the game, her 64th straight game with an assist.

– Anna Martin led the Blue Demons with 24 points, her second 20-plus point game of the season.

– Chester had a season-high 19 points.

– Martin (24), Chester (19), Keisha Hampton (16), and Quigley (14) all scored in double digits for DePaul.
