As a new era of Vanderbilt football gets underway on Saturday, we want Commodore Nation to unite by wearing black and gold this week.
No matter where you are, we’ve come up with a couple of ways that you can show your support of the program across the globe.
1) Let’s create the longest Black and Gold chant ever on Facebook. Go to this page and keep the cheer going by commenting beneath the photo. Also, tag your seat location in the image to show your support.
2) Post your Commodore fan photos from around the world on Vanderbilt Athletics’ Facebook Fan Page. We want to see you in Black and Gold. Photos can be with family, friends, pets, babies, etc.
3) And remember on gameday, wear black to the stadium as Vanderbilt takes on Elon to start the season.
College Colors Day Friday
Fans from around the nation are encouraged to wear their school colors on Friday as part of the annual College Colors Day.
College Colors Day began in 2005 and is an annual celebration dedicated to promoting the traditions and spirit that enhance the college experience. The day traditionally coincides with the first weekend of the college football season.
