Tennessee Invitational Heat Sheets Get Acrobat Reader

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Four Vanderbilt track and field athletes will get one more tune up in before next weekend’s SEC Outdoor Championships as they will compete in the Tennessee Invitational in Knoxville, Tenn. Saturday. VU’s Teegan Hill and Mallory Hitt will join pole-vaulters Katherine Hendricks and Meagan Martin as the lone Commodores competing in Knoxville. Action will get underway at the Tom Black Track at LaPorte Stadium Saturday beginning with the men’s hammer throw at 9 a.m. ET.

Teams competing this weekend include, Bryan, Carson-Newman, East Tennessee State, Kentucky, Lee and Tennessee.

Vanderbilt’s Hendricks and Martin are scheduled to jump in the women’s pole vault at 11:30 a.m. ET. while Hitt will compete in the high jump and 100 meter hurdles at 1 and 1:35 p.m., respectively.

Teegan Hill will run in the women’s 400-meter dash at 1:55 p.m. The freshman from Lancaster, Texas will be looking to regionally qualify Saturday in the quarter-mile. Hill will need to clock a 54.61 to qualify for regionals later this month.
