THE LAST TIME OUT
• The Commodores closed out their indoor regular season at home by hosting 50 teams for the Music City Challenge
• Five school records fell over the course of two days in Nashville, while Vandy student-athletes added 20 marks ranking in the program’s all-time top 10
• For the third straight meet, freshman Janie Ford set a Vanderbilt record, this time in the 200 meters where she clocked 23.37 seconds to win the event
• Vanderbilt student-athletes swept the invite and open sections of the long and high jumps

LAST YEAR AT THE SEC INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS
• At the 2025 SEC Indoor Track & Field Championships, the Commodores totaled three scoring performances, breaking one school record and adding six marks to the program’s all-time top 10
• Vandy had a pair of student-athletes score in the pentathlon. Marta Sivina finished fourth with a personal-best score of 4,174 points, ranked No. 2 in program history, while Devyn Parham placed seventh with 3,963 points, the fourth-highest score in school history
• The Dores’ distance medley relay scored for a second consecutive year, turning in a time of 11:13.61 to break the school record

DORES IN THE RANKINGS
• The Commodores check in at No. 41 in the USTFCCCA DI National Track & Field Rating Index
• Vandy is ranked sixth in the South Region
• Five Commodore event squads, 60-meter hurdles (third), long jump (fifth), triple jump (sixth), 400 meters (seventh) and high jump (ninth), rank top 10 in the country

Action at the SEC Indoor Championships kicks off Thursday at 11 a.m. with the pentathlon 60-meter hurdles. Live results are available through Flash Results, and events will be streamed on SEC Network+ throughout the weekend.
