SUNSET, S.C. — Vanderbilt wrapped up its regular season with an eighth-place finish at the Clemson Invitational.

Led by Lynn Lim, the Commodores carded a 9-over-par, 873 after 54 holes.

The Dores had a firm finish to the season with their best round all weekend— a 2-under-par team performance on the final 18 holes. Undeterred by bad weather, Vandy came to play with 16 of their 39 total birdies coming Sunday.

Not missing a beat, Lim finished off her stellar return to competitive golf with a 1-over-par round, solidifying her with an eighth-place finish.

Virginie Ding’s 3-under-par performance Sunday was the best single round for the Commodores all weekend, topped off with an eagle coming on the par-5 11th hole.

Tillie Claggett and Celina Sattelkau both had even-par rounds to finish out the tournament. Natasha Kiel finished with a 1-over-par 73.

Vanderbilt now turns its attention to the postseason as it prepares for the SEC Championships starting April 12 at Greystone Golf Club in Birmingham, Alabama.
