Three Go Undefeated on Day 1 in Atlanta

Upperclassmen lead Vandy as action opens at Georgia Tech Invite

ATLANTA — The trio of Jeremie Casabon, Marcus Ferreira and Siim Troost went undefeated in both singles and doubles Friday at the Ken Byers Tennis Complex as Vanderbilt men’s tennis began play at the Georgia Tech Invitational.

In addition to teaming up for an 8-3 victory in their first doubles match of the three-day event, both Casabon and Troost won their singles contests in straight sets while combining to drop to just seven games total. Ferreira teamed with Mitchell Deames for a doubles win in the morning, bouncing back after dropping the second set to claim a singles victory also, and Nathan Cox added a win in singles action as well.
