KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A trio of Commodores competed at the Sea Ray Relays at the University of Tennessee on Friday, April 12, all finishing in the top-five of their events.
Kristen Findley and Hannah Jumper finished second and third, respectively, in the 1,500 meters. Findley clocked a time of 4:29.04, while Jumper crossed the line in 4:34.11. They were the top two finishers running for an NCAA institution in the race.
Sara Barron earned a fifth place finish in the 800 meters, posting a time of 2:11.29. Tennessee’s Amirah Johnson won the 800 with a mark of 2:09.11.
Assistant Coach Rhonda Riley was happy with the effort from the trio.

That is the only competition at the Sea Ray Relays for Vanderbilt this weekend. The remainder of the team will compete on Saturday, April 13, at the Spec Towns National Team Invitational at the University of Georgia.
