Head Coach Jim Grobe:
A graduate from Virginia in 1975, Grobe is in his seventh season with the Deacons and has a record of 44-39. Grobe is in his 13th season overall as a head coach and has a career mark of 77-72-1. He was the unanimous choice as the ACC Coach of the Year in 2006 after leading his team to the Orange Bowl.

QB #11 Riley Skinner (6’1″ 200 lbs. So.):
Skinner is the most accurate passer in school history. In nine games, Skinner has completed 186 of 257 passes this year, a rate of 72.37%, for 1,790 yards and nine touchdowns with 11 interceptions. Skinner’s career completion percentage of 69.1% is the best-ever by any Wake Forest quarterback. He ranks second in the nation in completion percentage. He has thrown for 200 or more yards six times this season.

WR #21 Kenneth Moore (6’0″ 204 lbs. Sr.):
Moore set the school record for pass receptions in a season after catching eight passes vs. NC State last week. Moore now has 78 receptions on the season and is the ACC leader in that category. He is tied for ninth in the nation in receptions per game. He has 860 receiving yards, including four 100-yard games this season. LB #59 Aaron Curry (6’3″ 240 lbs. Jr.):
Curry is second on the team in total tackles (83) and tackles for loss (nine and one-half). Last week, he intercepted a pass against North Carolina State and returned it 57 yards for a touchdown. It was Curry’s fourth interception of the season and his third return for a touchdown which tied the NCAA record for interceptions returned for touchdowns in a season by a linebacker. Curry is now the Deacons’ season (226) and career (256) interception return yardage leader.

CB #2 Alphonso Smith (5’9″ 191 lbs. Jr.):
Smith has totaled 39 tackles and three and one-half tackles for loss this season. Smith is tied for the ACC lead with six picks this season. For his career, he has 12 interceptions. He owns the school record and has tied the ACC mark for career touchdowns on interceptions with four and is the NCAA active leader in that category. He has three interception returns for touchdowns this year.

P/PK #38 Sam Swank (6’2″ 206 lbs. Jr.):
One of the top place kickers in the country, Swank has been named as one of 20 semifinalists for the prestigious Lou Groza Award. Swank has converted 99 consecutive PAT attempts in his career going into the Vanderbilt game. He is Wake Forest’s all-time leading scorer with 273 points. He has converted 16 of 19 field goal tries this year and all 37 PAT attempts. In 2005 vs. Vanderbilt, Swank booted field goals of 34 and 22 yards for the Deacons.

Under Jim Grobe, the Deacons are 36-13 when scoring 24 or more points. When scoring fewer than 24 points, Wake Forest is 8-26.
Leads the nation in defensive touchdowns with eight. Wake Forest has 10 non-offensive touchdowns this season.
Defense has held seven of its 11 opponents to less than 100 yards rushing.
WR Kevin Marion is the ACC leader and ninth in the nation in kickoff returns with a 29.9 average.
