Will Owens
Associate Director • Communications (Baseball)
Will Owens joined Vanderbilt Athletics in 2022 and serves as associate director of communications, working primarily with the baseball program.
From Louisville, Kentucky, Owens previously served as digital media coordinator at Georgia State where he was responsible for developing and implementing the digital media strategy for the athletics department and its 15 varsity sports. Owens also served as the sports information director for the women’s basketball, women’s soccer, softball, track and field, and cross country programs.
Owens earned his undergraduate degree in broadcasting from Western Kentucky and a graduate degree in sports administration from Georgia State. While at Western Kentucky, Owens worked two years in the sports communications office, serving as the contact for tennis while assisting with other sports.
