Sam Haughton

Sam Haughton joined Vanderbilt Athletics and the National Commodore Club staff in July 2024 as assistant athletic director for premium seating and hospitality.

Prior to coming to Vandy, Haughton was associate athletic director for ticketing, fan engagement and communications at Nevada for nearly two years. He began his professional career as a development assistant for the Indiana University Varsity Club in 2013, and was assistant director of ticket operations for the Hoosiers for nearly three years after that. Haughton also has served as the ticket sales manager at Oklahoma State, the general manager of ticket sales at LSU and was vice president at Taymar Sales U. for a year before accepting the role in Reno, Nevada.

Haughton earned his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and sport marketing & management from Indiana, and he would go on to add a master’s of sport administration degree from Ohio.
