Peyton Young joined Vanderbilt Athletics as director for strategic priorities in July 2026.

Prior to Vanderbilt, Young served as senior director of donor and alumni relations with Air Force’s Falcon Athletic Fund, where she led strategic communications, donor stewardship, and alumni engagement initiatives that strengthened the connection between the program’s athletic department and its supporters. In that role, she oversaw stewardship efforts, developed meaningful donor experiences, and planned alumni events that fostered lifelong relationships with graduates, former student-athletes, and philanthropic partners.

Young was promoted to senior director in November 2025 after serving as director of donor and alumni relations and previously as assistant director of development. Since joining the academy in 2022, she played an integral role in advancing fundraising and engagement efforts in support of cadet-athletes and the academy’s athletic programs.

Young attended Lasell (Mass.), where she was a member of the women’s basketball team while earning a bachelor’s degree in sport management in 2021 and a master’s degree in athletic administration in 2022.
