Brandon Floyd
Assistant Athletic Director • Student-Athlete Development
Brandon Floyd was hired as assistant athletic director of student-athlete development at Vanderbilt in May 2023.
In his role, he leads and manages the student-athlete development office and oversees all internal Name, Image and Likeness educational programming.
Floyd was assistant director of career and professional development at High Point for two years before coming to Vanderbilt, and also has experience as program coordinator in leadership development at the NCAA national office.
He is a 2017 graduate of Catawba with a degree in sport management—he also had minors in marketing and business administration—before going on to earn a master’s degree in operations management from Arkansas. In addition to working as a graduate assistant in student-athlete development for the Razorbacks, Floyd also served as an academic counselor for the men’s track and field team as well as coordinator for the iBelieve male retention program.
