Ashley Taylor

After serving two seasons as director of operations for the Commodore soccer program, Ashley Taylor was named assistant director of human resources operations at Vanderbilt in November 2023.

She joined the Vandy staff after four seasons as an assistant softball coach at Ohio. Prior to that, in addition to serving as assistant softball coach at Tennessee Tech during the 2018 season Taylor worked in administrative roles including external relations assistant, community service coordinator and as liaison for the student-athlete advisory committee while the head softball coach at Centre (Ky.) College.

As a graduate student at Belmont, Taylor spent time on the coaching staff as both a graduate assistant and later an assistant coach. Taylor played collegiate softball at Austin Peay, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in special education.
