Diane McCartney

Diane McCartney was hired in April 2022 as an account manager for Anthony Travel working directly with Vanderbilt Athletics. In her role, she helps manage the daily needs such as scheduling hotel, air—including coordinating charter flights as needed—and bus accommodations for both team competitions, and coaches’ and student-athletes’ recruiting related travel.

McCartney worked for nearly five years previous with Anthony Travel in support of West Virginia University Athletics, where she received the Becky Escamilla Award for her dedication and service to the Mountaineers. She also had experience in different roles with several Morgantown, West Virginia, based travel organizations before working with collegiate athletic departments.

A native of Weirton, West Virginia, McCartney graduated with honors from the Wilma Boyd Career School in Pittsburgh. She and her husband Tom, who has passed away, have one daughter, Taylor. McCartney enjoys hiking, riding motorcycles and spending time with her dog.
