Andrew Turner is in his fourth season as the Director of Sports Operations for the Vanderbilt swimming, cross country and track and field teams in 2021-22.

Turner has been on the West End since 1995 where he has served several roles, including assistant coach for the cross country and track and field programs, facility manager, recruiting coordinator, compliance coordinator, and most recently, Assistant Director of Compliance/Recruiting & Technology Coordinator.

In his current role, Turner coordinates the day-to-day activities within his respective sport programs including recruiting, travel and meet management.

A four-year letterwinner in track and cross country at Belmont, Turner helped the cross country team to top 20 finishes at the NAIA National Championships in 1992 and 1993. He was honored with the Belmont University Senior Award in 1994.

Turner graduated from Belmont in 1994 with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and a minor in business administration.
