NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Commodore track and field team continues its spring season Friday and Saturday when it hosts 38 teams at the David Williams II Recreation & Wellness Center for the Vanderbilt Invitational.

Alabama A&M, Alabama State, Arkansas State, Austin Peay, Belmont, Campbellsville, Centre College, Cleveland High School, Cumberland (Tenn.), Cumberlands, Furman, Georgia Tech, Kennesaw State, *Kentucky, Lee (Tenn.), Lincoln Memorial, Lipscomb, Marshall, Memphis, MTSU, *Mississippi State, Morehead State, Murray State, NYAC, Oakland, *Ole Miss, Refuge Training Center, Rhodes, SCAD Atlanta, SCAD Savannah, Southern Mississippi, *Tennessee, Tennessee Running Club, Tennessee State, Tennessee Tech, UT-Martin, Tulane, Tusculum, ULM and *Vanderbilt will be competing in the meet.
Dore notes
- Vanderbilt opened its 2025 season at the Commodore Challenge at home
- Nine Commodores, including four newcomers, added their names to program all-time top 10 lists
- Senior Julia Rosenberg (1,000 meters) and junior Taylor McKinnon (60-meter hurdles) won their respective events
- Vanderbilt student-athletes recorded seven top 3 finishes
- A total of seven Dores had personal-best performances
- Active student-athletes hold three indoor school records and have registered 22 marks ranking in the program all-time top 10
- Vanderbilt welcomed sixteen newcomers to its track and field roster for the 2024-25 season
- Prior to the start of the 2024 season, the Dores added Chad Balyo (distance), Candace Fuller (throws) and Lisa Morgan (distance) as assistant coaches
