NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Due to forecasted weather in the Nashville area on Saturday, the annual Black and Gold Game will now begin at 10 a.m. at FirstBank Stadium. Gates will open at 9 a.m.
A complete timeline of the day’s activities is below:
7:30 a.m. – Parking lots open
8:30 a.m. – Vandyville and Kids’ Zone
9 a.m. – Gates open
9:35 a.m. – Star Walk
10 a.m. – Scrimmage begins
Tickets are complimentary and still available to be claimed via VUCommodores.com. Seating will be general admission within the main seating bowl of FirstBank Stadium. Entrance will be available through Gate 2/Frist Family Gate (corner of Natchez Trace and Jess Neely Dr.) and Gate 3 (near home plate of Hawkins Field).
Premium seating options are still available for purchase in the South End Zone Commodore Club. These spaces will include complimentary food and drinks, with access to a cash bar. Fans may purchase online or on the day of the game, beginning at 9 a.m., through the start of the game. Those who purchased the premium seating will be able to enter through the Premium Entry in the South End Zone.
Parking will be free of charge and available in either the 25th Avenue Garage or the VUMC “Flat Lots” between Natchez Trace and Vanderbilt Place.
Vandyville will be located on Jess Neely Drive.
There will be no television broadcast of the game but it can be heard on 94.9 FM in Nashville and streamed on the Vanderbilt Athletics app.
