Preston Maxcy joined Vanderbilt in 2011 as an equipment intern for the football program, and has been involved with every varsity program since arriving on campus.

The Nashville native is 2010 graduate of Ole Miss, earning a degree in nutrition, hospitality and management.

Maxcy and his wife, Lindsey, are the parents of an adopted son, Jack. The family has two rescue dogs — Archie and Zoey.
