Coach Nelson on Taylor Porter…Taylor approached the offseason with an edge, and it paid off. She made significant gains in both strength and quickness, becoming an even more impressive athlete. A full year into her transition to full-time libero, Taylor improved her serve reception, defense, and out-of-system setting. We think she has positioned herself to play an important role for Team 2.

Why Vanderbilt?
I chose Vanderbilt, because I wanted to be a part of making history and be the first in building out a new program. I love the coaching staff, and the school is also in the SEC. Vandy offers so many opportunities beyond volleyball that’ll help me in the long run.
