Coach Nelson on Reese Animashaun… We are confident Reese is going to be an important piece to our program on and off the court. Her athleticism is off the charts, and her development as a six-rotation outside has been staggering. Reese was searching for the perfect fit, especially academically, in her recruiting process. There is no doubt she will take advantage of all the resources provided by Vanderbilt to reach her potential.

Why Vanderbilt?
“The Vanderbilt community is amazing. It is supportive and invested in the beginning of volleyball at Vanderbilt. The coaching staff cares about my development as a person, athlete and student. Finally, I wanted the opportunity to study at one of the top schools in the nation, compete with the best of the best in the SEC and experience the city of Nashville.”
